Reuven Richard Kantor, Adv. & Notary
Former Chief Prosecutor, Jerusalem District, Value Add Tax (VAT) Authority of Israel’s Ministry of Finance.
Adv. Kantor is currently a member of the Committee to Review Judicial Appointments.
In addition to expertise in VAT tax matters, Adv. Kantor, is a notary public with expertise in specialized notarizations, including apostolic notarizations and certified translations. Adv. Kantor has decades of experience in both criminal and civil matters. Adv. Kantor clerked at Israel’s Department of Justice for Alan Zysblat and Deputy Attorney General Tanah Spanitz.
Before coming to Israel Adv. Kantor practiced law in Memphis Tennessee. He is licensed to practice in the US Federal Courts and admitted to appear before the United States Supreme Court. Adv. Kantor served as special Judge to the General Sessions Court in Memphis. He also served as President of the Tennessee Equity Capital Corporation, a licensed small business investment company. Adv. Kantor was educated at Emory University and University of Tennessee School of Law (Champion Speaker of Moot Court Competition).
